The
Bentley Continental GT3 concept was unveiled at Paris last year and was
considered by many as the biggest surprise of the event. Today, the automaker
reported new details about the production, which will enter into competitions
in 2014.
Developed
in conjunction with M-Sport Ltd., the sporty V8 biturbo engine will have 4.0
that produces 500 hp and torque of 67.36 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be
mated to a racing sequential six-speed.
Inside,
it will have a roll cage in the specifications of the FIA, one racing seat made
of carbon fiber and a steering wheel, according to the automaker,
"meticulously tailored."
