After
the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo and Turbo S, Porsche is already preparing the launch
of the 911 GT2. The next 'bomb' of the German mark will be based on the 911
Turbo and will be revealed to the world at the Geneva Motor Show in March next
year.
For
now the information is still scarce, but according to British advances
'Autocar', the mechanics should be the same as the 911 Turbo S, ie, a boxer
six-cylinder biturbo 3.8 opposites, with 560 hp and automatic transmission dual
clutch.
The
big difference for the Turbo S is even the option of rear-wheel drive instead
of all-wheel drive solution for greater performance and requirement.
The
performances are not yet known, but it is expected that this version is able to
meet the 0 to 100 km / h in about three seconds and exceeding 320 km / h speed.
Is
scheduled for later RS version with a power close to 630 hp. The 911 GT2 RS is
expected to arrive in 2015.
