production - 500 units - the new 'pump' the Ford was sold in less than 12
hours, 48 hours ahead of schedule, advances the British publication Autocar.
The
curiosity around the model was so great - many stakeholders decided to wait for
the presentation dealers in British - and therefore the brand has chosen to
advance the presentation of the model.
Portugal
will receive only ten copies, with price of around 55,000 euros, the Focus
RS500, which will be available from July and only in matte black, and retrieves
a designation that caused a sensation in the eighties, with the Sierra Cosworth
RS500.
The
five-cylinder 2.5 turbo was modified by Ford Team RS and Revolve Technologies,
doing a power increase to 350 horsepower (+45 hp) and torque up to 460 Nm (10
Nm).
The
performances announced are impressive for a front wheel drive car: 263 km / h
top speed and 5.6 seconds to accomplish the 0 to 100 km / h.
